Diógenes Moura is a writer, curator of photography and independent editor. Awarded in Brazil and abroad, he received the Prize APCA of Best Book of Tales - Chronicles, in 2010, with Ficção Interrompida – Uma Caixa de Curtas [Interrupted Fiction - A box of short films] (Ateliê Editorial). In the same year he was finalist at the Jabuti Prize in the same category. He wrote, among others, Fulana Despedaçou o Verso (Virgin Land Editions, 2014) and Drão de Roma – Dezembro Caiu (Foundation House of Jorge Amado, 2006). He was curator of photography at the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo between 1999 and 2013, where he held exhibitions, reflections on photographic thinking and made possible the recognition of the museum as one of the most significant in Latin America. As curator, received three more APCA awards. He is the author of projects on the most important Brazilian photographers. Livro de Rua [Street book], his research work that establishes deep connections between literature, image and existence was exhibited at UTÓPICA gallery, in Sao Paulo. O Livro dos Monólogos – Recuperação para Ouvir Objetos [The Book of Monologues - Recovery to Listen to Objects] will be published in May 2018, by Vento Leste Editora.
