Painter, printmaker, graphic designer, photographer and poet with a career spanning over half a century, Fernando Lemoshas held 50 solo exhibitions and participated in many art shows in Brazil and abroad, including eight editions of the São Paulo Art Biennial. Lemos started experimenting with photography in 1949 making a series of Surrealism inspired photographs, including an important group of innovative portraits of Portuguese avant-garde artists and intellectuals. His photographs can be found in the major Brazilian and Portuguese museum collections, as well as in private collections in Portugal, Brazil, Spain, Russia, Japan, and the United States."
