CANARANA, MT, 13/08/2016.

English version:

CANARANA, MT, BRAZIL, 08/13/2016. An indian walks in the Yawalapiti Village amidst the smoke that has covered Xingu Indigenous Park due to the large number of forest fires. In addition to the impact of the accumulation of greenhouse gases, deforestation in the park boundaries has caused an increase in local temperature and changes in hydrological regime. The drought, has made subsistence crops more difficult, changing the way of life of these communities, increasingly dependent on industrialized food.
